Supporting Organizations in the Energy Transition

There are two common reasons organizations seek our support when it comes to their energy use:

  1. They’re looking to reduce their energy bills.

    or,

  2. They’re looking to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

The good news is our work reduces costs and emissions! The first thing we recommend to organizations seeking to reduce their energy costs and emissions is to complete an energy audit. An energy audit is a deep dive into your building or facility to:

  • determine where and why energy is being used,

  • provide information on how you can improve energy efficiency, and

  • provide you with the information to empower good investments into energy and emission saving initiatives.

We’ve completed energy audits from housing to industrial projects which have supported our customers:

  • Make better power purchasing decisions (floating v. fixed),

  • Obtain rebates for energy efficiency measures such as LED lighting,

  • Obtain preferred financing for new capital projects (CMHC Co-Investment Fund), and

  • Identify capital improvements with short term paybacks and high rates of return (waste heat recovery, control sequencing and equipment optimization).
